T.E.D. In East Lindsey

Talk, Eat, Drink (T.E.D.) in East Lindsey is funded by the BIG Lottery under its Ageing Better programme. The T.E.D. programme tries to identify the good provision that is happening through existing groups and facilities and helps to develop and promote them. This is achieved through the involvement of older people and local organisations. T.E.D. is working to reduce isolation across East Lindsey and is designed to empower and connect individuals, helping to create sustainable change in communities.

Volunteering

TED Volunteer

If you want to help us make a real difference to the lives of local people over 50 then we want to hear from you. We are recruiting volunteers. Whatever your passion and how much time you have to spare we have five opportunities for you to get involved. Read More.

Over the next six years we will develop a network of voluntary and community groups which are recognised, as ‘Age Friendly’. As a T.E.D. Network member, you will be part of a growing number of community, and voluntary services. Read More.

Business

Pocklingtons

Following the success of the first Age Friendly Business Event held at Mablethorpe a steering group, which includes community representatives and local businesses has been formed. Read More.

Commissioned Services

T.E.D. in East Lindsey Commissioned Services can apply for the Strategic Investment of up to £25,000 for larger groups. Read More

Evaluation

We will be collecting regular evaluation data throughout the project. This research will be collected from volunteers, service users, T.E.D. Network members, event attendees and many more. Read More.

The T.E.D. database provides access to events and activities near you that are aimed at or suitable for the over 50s. You can search by location and then refine your results by using keywords or proximity settings. Read More.
